President/Owner
The second generation of leadership at Cowan since 1997, inheriting a company with an unshakable commitment to maximizing human potential and organizational performance. He is recognized by his peers as an innovator, game changer and pioneer in creating revolutionary, customized talent management solutions for his clients.
Annabell Harris
CFO
Annabell oversees all financial planning, budgeting, and risk management, ensuring Cowan International stays strong, sustainable, and growth-focused. Known for her sharp eye for detail and calm decision-making, Annabell plays a key role in guiding the company’s long-term vision and keeping us grounded in financial health—while supporting our global reach and ambitious goals.
Cymarah Harris
Third Generation Owner
As Head of Business Development and third-generation leader at Cowan International, Cymarah has grown within the company since 2017, developing a deep understanding of recruitment, strategy, and client relationships. She plays a key role in expanding Cowan’s impact, driving retention-focused hiring, and building long-term partnerships that strengthen businesses.
Edda Barillaro
Senior Recruiter and Account Manager
Edda joined Cowan International in December 2007 as a Senior Recruiter, bringing experience from project management in the U.S. track and field industry and community work with adolescents. She has since successfully completed international and domestic recruitment assignments in mining, metals, and engineering. Known for her professionalism and dedication, Edda builds lasting relationships with candidates through honest communication and expert guidance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Social Sciences.
Fanny Fontaine
Senior Recruiter and Account Manager
Fanny joined Cowan International in April 2012 as a Recruiter in Australia, bringing a decade of experience in the French automotive industry as a Project Engineer and Ergonomics Engineer. An expat herself, she has lived in Norway, Nigeria, and Australia before settling in France. Now a Senior Recruitment Manager, she plays a key role in helping Cowan connect with top talent worldwide. Fanny holds an engineering degree from Ecole Catholique des Arts et Métiers de Rennes and a master’s in Ergonomics and Human Factors from La Sorbonne University in Paris.
Katherine Kuczynski
Recruiter and Sourcing Manager
Katherine joined Cowan International in August 2011 as a Data Administrator based in Hudson, Quebec. She now fulfills the critical role of Sourcing and Database Manager. Prior to joining Cowan, Katherine worked as a Researcher for a larger commercial real estate company. Katherine supports the team by sourcing for top talent and maintaining the integrity of the database. Katherine strives to provide superior customer service to both Cowan’s candidates and clients. Katherine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
Frank Principe
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Frank joined Cowan International in March 2001 as a Senior Recruiter focused on the mining & metals sector. Formerly employed by Noranda (now Glencore), Frank’s professional exposure includes hands-on bench-scale, piloting, and site-based technical services experience in the areas of hydrometallurgy and environment. Frank holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Concordia University in Montreal and a Master’s in Metallurgical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal. He is fluent in both French and English.
Maia Harris
Marketing & Digital Strategy
Maia oversees marketing, branding, and website development to ensure a strong and modern digital presence for Cowan International. She manages content strategy, LinkedIn marketing, and website optimization, crafting impactful messaging that positions Cowan as a leader in retention-focused recruitment. As the third-generation of Cowan International, Maia blends innovation and strategy, ensuring the brand remains engaging, future-focused, and aligned with Cowan’s core values.
Nina Zevgolis
Database Administrator
Nina joined Cowan in October 2022 as a Database Administrator, ensuring the security and consistency of the company’s database. A Liberal Arts Honours graduate, she is currently pursuing Environmental and Geospatial Studies at McGill University. Before Cowan, she worked as a psychology and biology researcher at John Abbott College and as a bioenergy and bioresource research manager for a non-profit. With her background in computer science and data systems, Nina plays a key role in optimizing Cowan’s software management and supporting the team.
